Interactive Installation

Get ready to play and dance inside mesmerizing interplays of light and projections…

CONCEPT

Array is an interactive light installation that transforms projected light into a volumetric, physical presence. Colored light passes through layered meshes, becoming visible, blendable, and spatial. You can shape the light through hand gestures, walk alongside the structure, and cast shadows.
The artwork invites both adults and children to experience light as a tangible, ever-changing material.

Steven Mark Kübler is a Vienna-based new media artist and interaction designer. He leverages an architectural background to create site-specific installations, lighting concepts, and spatial interventions for cultural and commercial clients.

His interactive installations combine light, sound, movement, and digital interaction into immersive spatial experiences. Rather than bringing the real world into the digital, Kübler’s approach does the opposite – integrating the digital into physical reality, blurring boundaries between virtual and tangible experiences. His works invite people to engage with their surroundings in unexpected and often poetic ways, from staircases to open landscapes. In addition he develops real-time generative artworks, transforming natural and cosmic forces into lowing digital compositions.
