CONCEPT
Invisible Ecologies is a data-driven audiovisual installation that transforms decades of hydrological data from the Arno River in Florence into flowing generative landscapes.
Using TouchDesigner and generative AI, the river’s rhythms become light, motion and sound — turning data into an emotional narrative that invites us to see beyond an anthropocentric perspective and recognize the living presence of water.
Tommaso Cherubini is a visual artist whose practice spans generative artificial intelligence, data processing, immersive environments, and multimedia installations. His research explores how scientific archives and databases can be transformed into layered visual experiences capable of fostering awareness and emotional engagement.
Alongside his personal projects, he works as a freelance professional in cultural heritage digitization,
communication and visual scenography for live music performances. As a specialist in generative AI, he
collaborates with public schools and private companies and has been a speaker at conferences and webinars.
He has collaborated with major cultural institutions, including the Museo Egizio in Turin, and with prominent musical artists such as Lazza.
