CONCEPT
In a time imagined as a circle, there is a line drawn that trembles to move forward, straight.
It is the line of evolution, which, within the cyclical nature of things, relentlessly pushes toward change.
“Change is the only constant,” wrote Heraclitus.
A change we struggle to perceive in our own lives, stretched across time in a society that moves too fast.
In this installation, however, time is trapped and carefully preserved in a display case, where it flows at a different rhythm.
Its effects act incessantly on the organism within, allowing the viewer to witness the changes, the mutations, life moving forward, ending, and ultimately evolving.
