Videomapping by The Fake Factory welcomed 2020 on the banks of the Arno with the soundtrack by the special guest Matthew Herbert, composer and electronic innovator who produced and collaborated with numerous world-renowned artists, such as Björk, R.E.M., Quincy Jones and many others.
An event created in collaboration with the Comune Di Firenze, F-Light, Mus.e and Lattex Plus.

La notte di Capodanno si è accesa tra arti digitali, lighting design e musica elettronica sotto le arcate illuminate di uno degli monumenti storici della città di Firenze: la Torre di San Niccolò.
Il videomapping di The Fake Factory ha accolto il 2020 sulle rive dell’Arno con la colonna sonora curata dallo special guest Matthew Herbert, compositore e innovatore elettronico che ha prodotto e collaborato con numerosi artisti di fama mondiale, quali Björk, R.E.M., Quincy Jones e tanti altri.
Un evento realizzato in collaborazione con il Comune Di Firenze, F-Light, Mus.e e Lattex Plus.

A special edition dedicated to training and orientation meetings on new trends in digital creativity.
The event hosted 16 educational sessions with teachers and experts from all over Italy, and over 62 hours of lessons, workshops and demonstrations aimed at students, professionals and curious people.
Great success for the workshops of Paolo Baccolo (Adobe Certified Expert & Acer Ambassador), Umberto Zappa (Nikon School) and Lorenzo Colloreta (Wacom Ambassador).
Surprising lectures by Amin Farah (The BlackLab Studio) on 3D digital fashion, by Chiara Guazzugli on the Organization of Festivals and by Florentine start up Stride on VR & AR for entertainment.
Very high quality within the parts hosted by the teachers of participating schools (University of Florence, Modartech Institute, New York Film Academy, Accademia Cappiello) and of Florentine studios The Fake Factory and Marte5.

Un’edizione speciale dedicata a incontri di formazione e orientamento sui nuovi trend della creatività digitale.
L’evento ha ospitato 16 sessioni didattiche con docenti ed esperti provenienti da tutta Italia e oltre 62 ore di lezioni, workshop e dimostrazioni rivolte a studenti, professionisti e curiosi.

We had the honor of collaborating with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the national event which brought together 14 of the best Italian digital art studios for redesigning the Palazzo della Farnesina, through the art of videomapping.
For one night, the façade of the Ministry was transformed into a 10,000 sqm and 15 million pixel canvas, which welcomed spectacular visual narratives conceived in homage to the great historical and cultural value of the building, as well as of the institution residing within it.

Abbiamo avuto l’onore di collaborare con il Ministero degli Esteri nell’evento nazionale che ha riunito 14 dei migliori studi di arte digitale italiani per ridisegnare il Palazzo della Farnesina attraverso l’arte del videomapping.
Per una notte, la facciata del Ministero si è trasformata in una tela da 10.000 mq e 15 milioni di pixel, che ha accolto narrazioni visive spettacolari concepite in omaggio al grande valore storico-culturale dell’edificio e dell’Istituzione che risiede al suo interno.
Da Roma al mondo
14 studi di progettazione, 16 proiettori, 500 mila ansilumen: un evento senza precedenti.
Farnesina: Digital Art Experience si è rivelato uno spettacolo unico ed affascinante: una fotografia del meglio che riesce ad esprimere oggi il mondo dell’Arte Digitale italiana, trasmessa in diretta internazionale e ricondivisa dalle Ambasciate italiane nel mondo.
