TIME TO TIME - Samuele Barretta

Artificial Intelligence

Muta Azione

MOU LAB - Italy

This installation represents founding change, something that affects the deepest layers of identity and happens in a silent, cozy, intimate way.

A silent mutation that, by changing tiny characteristic sequences of an amino acid in the DNA, creates actual revolutions on which it is necessary to think.

Mou Lab is an artistic collective that finds its distinctive feature in co-creation.
It uses digital languages, but its research is rooted in the material element that is found in its works as a presence or as an unbridgeable absence, in a two-way relationship with the natural environment that it claims as its own powerful matrix of meaning.

The Fake Factory - PRESENCE

Interactive

Presence

The Fake Factory - Italy

The installation showcases one of the recurring themes in The Fake Factory’s artistic poetics: the physical presence of the audience within the artwork. The visitor becomes an active presence capable of generating an infinite series of gestural choreographies and chromatic compositions with their own body.

The Fake Factory presents an interactive installation created by Stefano Fake and Alberto Gennaro based on a project in TouchDesigner designed by Elekktonaut.

The final aesthetic recalls the pioneering video experiments of Norman McLaren (“Pas de deux” 1968) and the video art works created by Fake in the early 2000s (“The Essence of Dance” 2004-2005). The dancer/performer’s body is replaced by the presence of the visitor, who takes on the role of a true and central actor in contemporary immersive digital art installations.

Award-winning studio specializing in videoart, videomapping, immersive experiences and new media art projects.
THE FAKE FACTORY created visuals and curated visual installations for public and private institutions in prestigious contexts worldwide.
Its founder, Stefano Fake, is currently one of the main Italian representatives of the new digital art form known as IMMERSIVE ART EXPERIENCE, and he created some of the most successful exhibitions in the world.

Infinite forme bellissime

The Fake Factory - Italy

The video artists of The Fake Factory will transform Stazione Leopolda with digital graphic animations that create an electron microscope view of atomic and molecular realities on the floor, showcasing the dynamic dance of cells and atoms.

Impulses and light beams will take you to discover the transformation of matter into energy. Get ready to contemplate the luminous beauty of the micro and macrocosm and dance with neutrinos and neurons!

“Infinite forms, beautiful and marvellous, have evolved and continue to evolve.”
