The famous loggia designed by Brunelleschi in Florence, hosted the works of four digital video artists,designed to convey to the city a message of Rebirth and hope through the new languages of digital art.
The digital artists were selected from 72 candidates from all over Italy, who participated in a digital arts competition for talents under 35.
Inspired by the architectural context and the historical moment we are experiencing, the artists were invited to reinterpret the Digital Renaissance theme using the technique of video mapping, a fascinating form of contemporary art that allows the redesign of architectural surfaces through the use of digital technologies and video projections.
After months of darkness, the facade of the Istituto degli Innocenti has returned to shine through digital art, symbolizing the vitality and the hopeful future that we all hope for.
The show was broadcast live on Sunday 27 December at 9.00 pm on the social channels of Bright Festival, La Nazione, Corriere Fiorentino and The Florentine.

Nel 1949 Pablo Picasso incontrò il fotografo Gjon Mili: insieme realizzarono straordinari “disegni di luce”, opere effimere che poterono sopravvivere solo grazie allo scatto fotografico.
Per una volta i bambini, poseranno matite e pennelli per “disegnare” con la luce; e sarà il loro gesto – immortalato fotograficamente – a diventare creazione artistica, fulminea eppure duratura.

The international community of digital artists and creative industry professionals, moved to Leipzig for three days of exciting events.
During the day: meetings, digital installations, VR and immersive experiences curated by experts and designers from all over Europe.
In the evening audio-visual shows and live set performed by international artists took place in the fascinating spaces of Kunstkraftwerk.
A new ambience dedicated to the digital creativity in which attendees could get in touch with new technologies and live immersive experiences.

Musician, Sound Designer, Certified Trainer
Stefano Bechini, Certified Trainer for Ableton since 2009, is a musician, composer, producer, sound and multimedia designer from Italy.
Active mainly in experimental electronic, jazz music, scoring for video/multimedia sequence, but also as sideman for established mainstream artists. He worked as player-producer for prestigious labels such as Sony Music, Warner Chappell, Disney Music Group and others.
He has been Art Director for projects promoted by the Italian Ministry of Cultural Heritage.
His works range also from music composition for cinema and Italian TV productions (RaiCinema, Mediaset) to collaborations with international artists.
Ableton is a leading force in music production, trusted by artists, producers, and performers around the world. Founded in Berlin in 1999 by musicians, the company continues to shape the future of music-making with innovative tools like Live — a groundbreaking software that blends studio precision with live performance freedom. Together with Push, Link, and creative platforms like Loop and Learning Music, Ableton empowers a global community to explore, create, and perform music with limitless potential.

Xavi Bové Studio
Artist and Director at University
New Media Artist. His work embraces a wide range of fields and techniques in media, such as light and digital art, immersive experiences and projection mapping.
From a technical background as a Sound and Image Telecommunications Engineer, he soon made the leap to artistic fields, with a Postgraduate degree and Masters in audio-visual studies.
He has participated in different festivals worldwide and has worked internationally in locations such as Berlin, New York, London, Singapore, Madrid and Rome. He gives lectures and courses, has been jury for many festivals and has been the artistic director of the renowned FIMG, the International Mapping Festival of Girona.
He is currently the director of the Digital Arts Degree and Masters at La Salle Barcelona Campus, Ramon Llull University.
Xavi Bové Studio is a digital art studio that creates unique audiovisual experiences through light, image, and sound. The focus of our work revolves around the intersection of art and technology, exploring concepts such as time, memory, human perception and the interaction between individuals and their surroundings.
They have presented their works internationally from Singapore to New York, have worked for institutions like the Museum of Contemporani Art Es Baluard or the Sagrada Familia in Barcelona, and collaborated with creative studios such as Onionlab.

Franz Rosati creates audiovisual concerts, electronic music, video installations, software art and printed artworks. The balance between visuals, sounds and music and the intersection between real and digital domains are at the core of its artistic production.
Using intricate workflows that put together aural and visual domain, open data, programming languages, scientific software, artificial intelligence, and video game engines, his work ranges from Audiovisual Concerts as well as Contemplative Video Installations.
In projects like Latentscape and Distantia, grounded into narrative structures, where the cinematic events and soundscapes creates a new cartography or ever-shifting imaginary worlds. When presented as audiovisual concert, audio and visual concepts are modeled over a cinematic and narrative approach, emphasizing the interplay between sound and images. This is consistently enriched by real-time interventions that add new and unpredictable elements to each performance.
Sound and music hold a central role in each of his works, representing the result of a profound process of material selection and transfiguration of acoustic sources.

Tra le sue collaborazioni più note spiccano quelle con: Rai, Mediaset, La7, Sky, Armani, Red Bull, Twitch, Universal, Sony, e molti altri brand del panorama audiovisivo.
Batterista in studio e in tour, da anni al servizio di artisti e progetti musicali, collabora con importanti realtà discografiche e televisive.
È inoltre docente da oltre un decennio e titolare del GiùStudio di Legnano.
